At our PTA Meeting on May 7, we voted in person to officially switch from a PTA to a PTO!

Please support the MPE PTO by signing up as a PTO member!

The MPE PTO supports the organized collaboration between our parents and the MPE staff and leadership. Through this collaboration, we support the academic and social emotional growth of our students by providing supplementary programs including Art Appreciation presentations, Author Visits, virtual and live Assemblies.

The MPE PTO creates an annual fundraising program to support the purchase of supplies and equipment that the MPE Team has identified as beneficial to our students’ success such as updating our playground equipment, providing enhanced classroom equipment and recess options. We are a non-profit organization and 100% of funds raised go directly back to our school.  

 

PTO Membership is only $25 for the year and serves as a venue to inform parents about volunteering for events and committees and all PTO Members will be listed in the exclusive MPE ONLINE Buzzbook Directory which will keep all members socially connected!

PTO Access Through Genesis

Parents must give approval for the MPE PTO to include your contact information on Class specific rosters. Parents in your class will use this information for special events and class parties.  

  • Please log on to Genesis.
  • In the Student Data tab, in the Forms tab, click on Parent Acknowledgements/Authorizations
  • Scroll down to Permission to Share Rosters and Email Address and click “Yes” when it asks you: “Do you wish to grant permission for the district to share class rosters and your primary email address with the Home and School Association (HSA) and/or Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in my child(ren)’s school(s)? The purpose of sharing this information is for HSA/PTA sponsored activities and the distribution of class-specific information and supplies.”

Many parents feel that the Remind Text Alert system is their favorite tool that helps them to sign up or order items. The system is based on grade so that we can communicate school wide or by grade, as needed.

If you have children in more than one grade, please sign up for both so that you don’t miss grade specific information.

MPE Yearbook

You are all members of this year's MPE Yearbook Committee!!  Please take pictures all year round and send them to us.  

Make sure to include your student's name and grade in the subject header. We will only be accepting pictures taken on school property and that include current MPE students and staff.
